Paddington Terrace

In need of a complete makeover, this inner-city terrace was reconfigured to include new bedrooms, bathrooms, and living spaces, along with first-floor and attic-level extensions. With a site area of just 44 square meters, the compact design offers an elegant and functional layout that maximises light, airflow, and connections to the outdoor living space, while providing ample storage.

A custom ground-floor joinery element spans the length of the site, seamlessly integrating the kitchen, study nook, staircase, and living room storage into one sophisticated unit. This design allows day-to-day items to be neatly tucked away out of sight. The use of soft, natural tones in the material palette adds warmth and texture, while a rear timber privacy screen introduces movement and variation to the facade.
