North Bondi House
The clients sought a coastal sanctuary, a flexible retreat designed for both family life and entertaining guests. Integrating seamlessly with the lush landscape, the home ensures every interior space enjoys verdant views, fostering a serene urban oasis.
Emphasising the interplay of indoor and outdoor spaces, natural light floods the home, enhancing connectivity with the garden. Despite solar constraints from neighbouring buildings, strategic placement of windows and building maximises northern sunlight. A central courtyard and sunroom feature prominently, illuminating the ground floor and providing a private, green backdrop.
Privacy in the bustling Bondi locale is paramount. Steel window baffles, a two-story white batten privacy screen, and robust blade walls ensure seclusion. Dense landscaping encircling the rear yard offers a tranquil refuge, shielding residents from city life's hustle and bustle.
